About the event

**There is a prerequisite for this course. Please sign up for Racially Conscious Collaboration: Foundations Seminar prior to enrolling in this seminar. The next public offerings of the Foundations Seminar is on Sept 6th, 2024.  Please contact us if you would like to schedule a private Foundations seminar for your organization.

About our Course:

What about the experiences of dark-skinned black people who face racism and homophobia?  What about the experience of emerging bilingual brown people seeing leadership positions at work?  Racism is already dangerous enough, and largely because of how well it travels with ableism, homophobia, gender dominance and more.  Terms like DEI, EDI, REI, and so forth only exist because the elevation of white  skin color and culture require a marriage to other forms of oppression.  In this session, we will explore how we can acknowledge the multiple forms of discrimination in hospitals, education, finance, corporate settings, and beyond while naming how race presents the most dangerous intersections of oppression in our society.

About our Facilitator/Director of Education:
